This project replaced the grand entry stairs of the historic neoclassical revival Stillwater County Courthouse. The design and construction respected the original stairs that were failing and utilized similar materials, engineering and construction that will extend the life of the courthouse for many years. The slight variation to masonry materials and use of precast concrete features as well as stainless steel handrails follow the design and scale of the original yet denotes to visitors that the construction is a replacement and of a new time period.
